What do you want to be known for? Creating, and positively impacting our culture-building, our story-telling, and how we see ourselves. I also want to be known for promoting activism, critical dialogue, and examination of our societies.
Regina Agu is a self-taught artist, influenced by her travels and being the product of a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural household. Her work is on view through March 27 at Corridor Gallery in Brooklyn as part of "The Black Artist as Activist", curated by Danny Simmons and Laurel Adams.
